All materials in Monash Collections Online are free to view, publicly accessible and intended for personal research and study purposes only.

Use or reproduction of any materials protected by copyright requires the permission of the copyright owners. Many materials may carry multiple copyrights.  It is your responsibility to determine whether the work you want to re-use or publish requires copyright permission and to seek this copyright permission from all copyright owners before reproduction of any work. 

Where this material is out of copyright it may be freely re-used. However, acknowledgement that the source was Monash Collections Online would be appreciated.

Takedown Request

Out of Copyright or Public Domain

Content identified as out of copyright is no longer covered by copyright in Australia. This means it is free to be used, communicated, copied or reproduced without restriction in Australia. However, acknowledgement that the source was Monash Collections Online would be appreciated. 

No Known Copyright

Copyright status has not been determined conclusively, but the Library has reasonable cause to believe that the work is no longer covered by copyright or related rights. Acknowledgement that the source was Monash Collections Online would be appreciated.

Copyright Undetermined

The library has been unable to determine the copyright status of an item under Australian Copyright law. You should do your own research to determine the copyright status of the item for any use other than approved copyright exceptions. Contact the University Copyright Adviser for more information. 

In Copyright - Rights-holder(s) Unlocatable or Unidentifiable

Identified as in copyright but no rights-holder(s) has been identified or located after reasonable investigation.

Copyright status is unknown. The Library has not undertaken an effort to determine the copyright status of the work.
